New York: Blondie co-founder Chris Stein has said there are talks about bringing the story of the legendary band to the big screen.
The American rock band, formed by Stein and singer Debbie Harry, was a pioneer in the early American new wave and punk scenes of the mid-1970s.
Stein, 64, said he wants actor Shia LaBeouf him in the biopic, reportedly. "We are always talking about stuff like that. It's all behind the scenes at the moment, so whatever happens... I don't know. I think Shia LaBeouf is great, but he is nuts," Stein said.
Last month, director Martin Scorsese announced plans for a film about that New York City band.
