Actor Ben Affleck has been roped in to direct the first episode of crime series, `The Middle Man`.

Los Angeles: Actor Ben Affleck has been roped in to direct the first episode of crime series, `The Middle Man`.
The 41-year-old will also serve as the executive producer, reports ew.com.
`The Middle Man` revolves around the story of an FBI agent who is responsible for taking down Italian-American mafia and his confidential informant, an Irish-American gangster.
Affleck has been a part of films like `Chasing Amy` and ` Dogma`. He will also portray Batman in the `Man of Steel` sequel.
