Los Angeles: Actor Brad Pitt believes that starring in film 'Interview With a Vampire' has been "one of the worst experiences" of his life.

In an interview with Psychologies magazine, the actor said he hated making the movie and if he was doing the movie now, he would have a lot of changes made, reports suggest.

"It was one of the worst experiences of my life. Six months in the f***ing dark, contact lenses, make-up, I'm playing the b***h role... Now I'd be able to say, 'This is a problem, we fix this, or I'm outta here," he said.

The 50-year-old actor starred with Tom Cruise in the 1994 horror movie.

The actor, who will now be seen in "Fury", also feels he lacked direction and focus early on in his career and didn't always take the best advice.

"When you're starting out it's easy to feel lost,” he said.
