Censor trouble for Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’?
It’s unbelievable! Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ has reportedly had three censor cuts.
Mumbai: Best known for making films ideal for family audiences, Sooraj Barjatya has won over millions of hearts across the globe. But the filmmaker, surprisingly, seems to have landed in a censor trouble!
It may sound incredible, but according to a report in missmalini.com, Barjatya’s latest – ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ starring Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor – seems to have run into trouble. The Censor board has reportedly asked makers to use their scissors to remove three scenes from the film! And the troubled points are-
The use of word ‘rakhail’, a sequence showing Ram-Leela and a man getting hanged!
This is truly unbelievable.
The magnum opus that also stars Neil Nitin Mukesh, Swara Bhaskar and veteran Anupam Kher, marks the comeback of 1990s star Armaan Kohli.
‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ will release on November 12.
