Mumbai: Filmmaker Arbaaz Khan says it was a collective and creative decision to rope in Kareena Kapoor for the item song ‘Fevicol se’ in ‘Dabangg 2’, while his wife Malaika Arora Khan features in a cameo in another song in the movie.
Malaika had become a rage with ‘Munni badnaam’ in the 2010 film ‘Dabangg’. She is expected to add her magic to the movie`s sequel too.
"Malaika is there in the film. She has a special appearance in `Pandey ji` song," Arbaaz said at a press conference here Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Kareena`s item number ‘Fevicol se’ has become the talk of the town. Arbaaz is happy with the response to it, and said: "The song is fantastic and she has done a superb job in it. The response is overwhelming. It was a mutual consensus and creative call to have Kareena do it."
Talking about whether there will be a third part to the ‘Dabangg’ series, Arbaaz said they will take a decision based on the response of ‘Dabangg 2’.
The Salman Khan-Sonakshi Sinha-starrar will release Dec 21.
