Dallas Buyers Club to release in India this February

Mumbai: Matthew McConaughey starrer Oscar-nominated movie `Dallas Buyers Club` is all set to hit the Indian screens on February 28. The biographical drama film is directed by Jean-Marc Vallee based on the true-life of Ron Woodroof in 1985 Dallas, an AIDS suffering electrician and hustler who worked around the system to help AIDS patients. The film won two Golden Globes and has been nominated for 6 Oscars including the best picture, best actor for McConaughey and best supporting actor for Jared Leto. "Dallas Buyers Club is a film that`s made once in a decade. A film that with brutal honesty explores various provocative conditions in an intriguing manner; while being based on a terminally ill man and dealing with serious issues like AIDS, Homophobia and Transexuality of the 1980`s America," said Avinaash Jumani, Film Acquisitions, PictureWorks. `Dallas Buyers Club` is distributed by PVR Pictures & PictureWorks in India.
