Los Angeles: "Mammoth" actor David Kallaway will star in Antoine Fuqua's "The Magnificent Seven" alongside Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt and Ethan Hawke.
The details about his role are kept under wraps, reported Aceshowbiz.
Set to hit US theatres on January 13, 2017, "The Magnificent Seven" is a remake of the classic 1960 western film directed by John Sturges, which was inspired by Akira Kurosawa's 1954 film, "Seven Samurai".
"The Magnificent Seven" centres on a woman (Haley Bennett) who hires a disparate group of gunslingers to protect her town from rampaging bandits.
Other stars attached to the film are Matthew Bomer, Peter Sarsgaard, Lee Byung Hun, Luke Grimes, Wagner Moura, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo and Billy Slaughter.
Antoine Fuqua directs the movie while John Lee Hancock rewrites the script which was originally written by "True Detective" writer Nic Pizzolatto.
