New Delhi: After giving an excellent start at the Box office on its opening day Karan Johar's directorial flick 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' continues to hold strong. Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer romantic drama successfully witnesses Diwali boom and goes to earn 26.40 cr!

Noted Hindi movie critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the figures:

Post Uri attack calls were made to ban 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' as it also features Pakistani actor Fawad Khan.

However, the movie was okayed for release by Maharashtra Navnirman Sena after Karan Johar made an appeal to the people to not stall the release of the film and also agreed to donate Rs 5 crore to an army welfare fund.
