New Delhi: When two good looking people are cast together in a film, you seldom set your eyes on anything else than the two in question. Well, the big rumour right now is that Karan Johar's Dharma Productions has decided to cast Katrina Kaif and Fawad Khan in lead roles for their next to be helmed by writer cum lyricist Aditya Dhar.
Excited, are you? Well, who wouldn't be. Actually, the matter of fact remains that when you have Pakistani import Fawad and sizzling 'chikni chameli' in one frame, you really cares about what storyline is it anyway.
But, according to BollywoodLife.com, the story is going to be full-on Punjabi. The report originally attributed the news to Mumbai Mirror and states that the love story is going to have a North Indian flavour to it with a big fat Punjabi wedding being a central theme.
The report quotes a source as telling Mumbai Mirror, “The shoot is expected to kick off in Delhi sometime in November. Fawad is set to welcome his second child in October in Pakistan and will be by wife Sadaf’s side till the baby is born. The film will roll once he’s back in India and ready to resume shoot.” The lead pair will hail from quirky Punjabi families and the film will showcase North Indian culture and revelry.”
Also, the source added, “Once done with the Delhi schedule, the team will move abroad. The locations are yet to be finalised and will be decided once Karan Johar returns from the US where he is currently on a concert tour.”
