Mumbai: Gauri Shinde will soon start working on her second directorial project starring Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles and the filmmaker says the story will not show conventional romance.
Gauri, 41, whose debut film "English Vinglish" was widely appreciated, wants to maintain the suspense on the chemistry her lead actors will be sharing in the yet untitled project to be produced by Karan Johar.
"Let's wait and watch. It won't be as typical as one expects... A man and woman to be together," she said when asked the relationship the protagonists will have in the film.
Alia, 22, had earlier said that she feels intimidated and nervous acting with Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri feels it is "good".
"I think it is good to be intimidated. We should all be intimidated with each other," she said.
The one film old director finds herself fortunate to get the 49-year-old "Happy New Year" star and the "Highway" actress on board for her film.
"I don't know how it happened...I wrote the script and I got lucky (with casting)."
The project is expected to go on floors soon.
