New Delhi: The first look of director Vivek Agnihotri`s socio-political saga ‘Freedom’ was unveiled on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti Tuesday. The film goes on floors this month.
True to the theme of the film, the poster shows Gandhiji`s iconic three wise monkeys that embody the proverbial principle to "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil".
‘Freedom’ is a socio-political saga, which spans across the period of 1970s to 2000s. It promises to give a cutting edge account of the events from the time of emergency declared in 1975 by the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi to the situation till date.
This film also marks Agnihotri`s debut in production as well as writing. The cast of the film is kept under wraps and is due to release in the summer of 2013. Agnihotri`s last directorial venture was ‘Hate Story’.
