Los Angeles: The first full trailer for the "Point Break" remake has been released.

Luke Bracey stars in the reboot as undercover agent Johnny Utah, the character played by Keanu Reeves in 1991's original thriller, reported E! online.

"Bourne Ultimatum" star Edgar Ramirez steps into Patrick Swayze's shoes as Bodhi, whose criminal gang is infiltrated by Johnny as they plan a massive heist.

Delroy Lindo will appear as Johnny's supervisor, while Teresa Palmer and Ray Winstone also feature.

Gerard Butler was originally attached to play Bodhi in the project, but was replaced due to scheduling conflicts before production began. "Point Break" opens on Christmas Day in the US and January 8, 2016 in the UK.
