The music has been composed by Amit Trivedi, while the song 'Yeh Fitoor Mera' has been sung by the talented Arijit Singh. Music is always an add-on to a film, especially if it has a striking script.

Although a few movies in his kitty, Kapoor's direction has always been praised. His movies seem to capture the emotions perfectly, this is probably why we could have high expectations from 'Fitoor'.

Based on Charles Dickens' 'Great Expectations':

The movie is based on Charles Dickens' popular book 'Great Expectations'. The book is a renown work of Dickens' and is considered to be a classic. We couldn't wait to see how it comes out alive in this one after Kapoor's adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's 'Five Mistakes of my Life'.
