'Flesh and Bone' gets November premiere date

Ballet-themed drama series "Flesh and Bone" has been given a premiere date by Starz.

Los Angeles: Ballet-themed drama series "Flesh and Bone" has been given a premiere date by Starz.

The premium channel has announced that it will premiere the first of eight "Flesh and Bone" episodes on Sunday, November 8, reported Deadline.

"Breaking Bad" writer Moira Walley-Beckett's limited-run series stars "Black Swan" star Sarah Hay as a troubled ballerina named Claire.

Claire has the opportunity of a lifetime to join a New York ballet troupe led by an esteemed director (Ben Daniels), but must battle her own demons in order to succeed.
"Flesh and Bone" also features "The Walking Dead" star Tovah Feldshuh in a prominent role.

Starz originally conceived of "Flesh and Bone" as a potential continuing series, but announced last autumn that it would instead have a limited run.

Development on the ballet drama was first reported back in January 2014.
