Washington: Paramount studio announced that they will re-release ` Forrest Gump` for the film`s 20th anniversary in September.
According to reports, the news came after the announcement to run a restored and re-mastered version of the 1984 hit ` Ghostbusters` for its 30th anniversary.
The 1994 Academy Award winning film had also gained Tom Hanks the Best Actor and Robert Zemeckis the Best Director Oscar, with its soundtrack selling twelve million copies.
