New Delhi: The Kareena Kapoor and Imran Khan starrer ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’ is slated for release on November 22 but here are some dialogue promos to amp-up the interest of the viewers who are awaiting the film to hit the theatres. The marriage interview The scenes from the movie give us a sneak peek into the story of the film. As one can see, in one of the scenes, Sriram (Imran Khan) is being interviewed by the girl’s (Kareena Kapoor) father on marriage. As it happens, the prospective groom is getting grilled by the girl’s dad on why he should give his daughter’s hand to him in marriage? Sriram smartly turns the tables by saying, “Main lazy hoon, shameless hoon, nakaara hoon. Main itna hatke hoon ki mere saath rehna bahot mushkil hai” (I am lazy, shameless and jobless. I am so different that it is very difficult to live with me). Mujhse do kadam aage hai aapki beti. Saat dino mein das morche nikalegi. Kabhi laathi charge ka darr hai, kabhi arrest hone ka. Ghar lautkar ayegi ya nahi, kuch pata nahin. Isliye aap bataiye, main aapki beti ko kyon loon?,” (Your daughter is two steps ahead from me. In seven days, she will lead ten protests. I fear, she might get attacked by the police or jailed. I wonder whether she will come back home or not. Now I ask, why should I marry your daughter?) Dulha Mil Gaya! In another scene, Diya (Kareena) parents are picking prospective grooms for her in a funeral. Poor Dia is shown subtly turning down her mother’s desperate attempts to find her a husband. It seems that the makers of GTPM have picked this scene from real lives of several marriageable men and women, who have dealt with anxious parents trying to get their children hitched. The runaway groom The third scene we have for you is Sriram – the groom – running away from his own wedding. What makes this promo interesting is the fact that the runaway groom’s parents are completely backing his run errr… move and even his to-be bride is seen smiling at the exciting happening! The guests present at the wedding also join by cheering eloping Sriram. Quite unique, no? Enjoy watching the videos!
