Legendary singer Aretha Franklin has revealed that actress Halle Berry is still the favourite to portray her in an upcoming biopic.

London: Legendary singer Aretha Franklin has revealed that actress Halle Berry is still the favourite to portray her in an upcoming biopic.
“Halle Berry is back in the game,” the Daily Mail quoted the 69-year-old singer as telling Macleans magazine.
“I just saw her at the curtain of Oprah’s farewell event and she let me know that she still wants to play the role,” she added.
Berry, who was Franklin’s first choice for the role, initially turned down the offer in January.
