New Delhi: He is not called the 'badshah' of Bollywood for nothing. The romantic star Shah Rukh Khan, whose just released film 'Happy New Year' saw a jam-packed response, has taken upon himself to thank his fans all over for such a huge positive opening.
The 48-year-old actor too to micro-blogging site Twitter and thanked his fans. He posted: “Thank u world for the love. What an enormous welcome to HNY all over.I hope team HNY made you all smile a lot.”

'Happy New Year' was released a day after Diwali (October 24, 2014), and the festive season really helped the makers cash-in on the occasion. The film has been directed by Farah Khan, and boasts of an ensemble cast of Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah.
The film is reportedly expected to cross the Rs 40 crore mark soon, creating a history of sorts.
