Hrithik Roshan NOT Aamir Khan was the first choice for THIS film?

New Delhi: Every film has its fate, they say in Bollywood. So if one actor denies a project, it very conveniently falls in the lap of another one. Recently, Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan recently made the announcement of starring in a project called 'Thugs of Hindostan' with none other than megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

But do you know, who was the first choice for the movie? Hrithik Roshan was reportedly approached for the Yash Raj venture before Aamir gave his nod. According to Pinkvilla.com, Hrithik had suggested some changes in the script and so the project took a backseat.

Pinkvilla.com quoted a popular daily as saying, “The entire project was planned with Hrithik. Hrithik and Aditya met over many sittings, discussing the film and Adi clearly told him that the film wouldn’t be made without him."

The source further told the daily, “Hrithik was not happy with the script. Some of the characters he thought were underdeveloped. In fact, the role of the leading lady he believed, was so sketchy that no major actress was willing to do the role. He suggested to Adi that they rework the script for some more time, as it didn’t justify the film’s Rs 160-crore budget. Adi agreed and told him that the script will be further developed before contacting him again. Hrithik told Adi to take his time and that it didn’t matter if it took two months or a year. That he would do the film whenever the script was ready.”

Vijay Krishna Acharya or Victor as he is better known as will be directing the film and Diwali 2018 has been locked for the release as well!
