New Delhi: Every film in Bollywood has its own destiny, as they say. However, there are some, which fight all odds and make history. Similar seems to be the case with filmmaker Karan Johar's 'Shuddhi'. The ambitious project, which now finally has 'Dabangg' Salman Khan as the lead, was earlier offered to Bollywood Greek god Hrithik Roshan.
The fact that Hrithik could not take it up at that time, had been earlier reported. Now, according to a leading daily, reports suggest that Hrithik was actually keen on doing 'Shuddhi', but wanted some time off, as he was recovering from his injury. 'Shuddhi' director Karan Malhotra, on the other hand, could not delay the project any further, reportedly.
Also, it has been reported that Hrithik fisrt wanted to finish 'Bang Bang' shoot schedule, only after which he had time for 'Shuddhi'. Leaving no other option for Dharma Productions, but to go ahead with another star cast. Soon after Hrithik left, even Kareena Kapoor Khan made her exit from the film.
With so much already happening in and around the film, finally Salman came to the maker's rescue. We hope the makers decide on the leading lady too and make a formal announcement soon.
