London: Game of Thrones` star Jack Gleeson has revealed that his role was inspired by Joaquin Phoenix in ` Gladiator `.Reportedly, the 21-year-old actor said that his character was influenced by Phoenix`s role as Commodus, as well as the monster Hexxus from FernGully.
Gleeson also admitted that he enjoys playing the psychopathic villain in the hit HBO TV series.
