Jai Courtney to join 'Suicide Squad'
Actor Jai Courtney is reportedly in talks to star in Warner Bros' DC Comics film 'Suicide Squad'. The 'Terminator: Genisys' actor is said to be wanted for the role of the assassin Deadshot, according to Variety. This follows the news that Margot Robbie will play Harley Quinn in the film, with Jared Leto being considered for the role of the Joker.

Los Angeles: Actor Jai Courtney is reportedly in talks to star in Warner Bros' DC Comics film 'Suicide Squad'. The 'Terminator: Genisys' actor is said to be wanted for the role of the assassin Deadshot, according to Variety. This follows the news that Margot Robbie will play Harley Quinn in the film, with Jared Leto being considered for the role of the Joker.
'Suicide Squad' centres around a group of criminals forcibly enlisted by the US government to perform high-risk, black ops missions.
Floyd Lawton - aka Deadshot - is a master marksman who was first introduced as a Batman villain in 1950. He was a central character on the acclaimed Secret Six series.
Courtney starred in 2013 film 'A Good Day to Die Hard' and is currently playing Eric in the 'Divergent' film series. David Ayer will direct 'Suicide Squad', which will be released on August 5, 2016.
