Mumbai: Now this is really big. Kamal Haasan and Sridevi, who put tear glands of their fans at work with their moving performances in ‘Sadma’, might team up for a film soon.
Fans of this handsome onscreen jodi can now (hopefully) see the duo sizzle on the silver screen after almost 3 decades, if the latest buzz is anything to go by.
Apparently, the ‘Vishwaroopam’ superstar is penning a script for his co-star of many films. The two have worked in several South Indian films together. And Sridevi, who made a comeback with ‘English Vinglish’ last year, is aware of the project in question.
Talking to a tabloid, a source said, “Filmmakers along the years have wanted to cast them together. Unfortunately, it never worked out. After Sridevi made her comeback, Kamal has now taken things into his own hands.”
Haasan did admit that he is working on a script specially designed for Sridevi. He said, “Yes, I want to work with Sridevi. I`m writing a script for her, so that both of us can act in the film."
