Mumbai: Sanjay Leela Bhansali drew flak for shooing away Kareena Kapoor from his ambitious project ‘Ram Leela’ starring Ranveer Singh, but since then hasn’t been able to zero in on anyone for the female lead.
Both Bhansali and Kareena had their versions of the same story to tell only to complicate the already chaotic situation.
There were reports that having found none to play Leela, Bhansali had to approach Kareena once again. But now the latest buzz has a contradictory story to unfold.
It’s Kareena who is keen to star in ‘Ram Leela’ and is so desperate that she has put her marriage to Saif Ali Khan on hold.
Talking to a tabloid, a source said, “Apparently she told Saif that she wanted to be a part of the film, and that could happen only if they delayed the wedding. Reluctantly, Saif agreed.”
Will Bhansali take Kareena on board ‘Ram Leela’? Will she really have to put her marriage on hold for the film?
Well, only time will tell.
