Kareena Kapoor refuses steamy scenes with Ajay Devgn in `Satyagraha`

New Delhi: Following marriage, many actresses have bid good bye to the showbiz world, but Kareena Kapoor has maintained her career in films. However, it seems she has drawn certain lines, when it comes to shooting a romantic scene. According to a tabloid, the 32-year-old actress has turned down director Prakash Jha’s idea of including a kissing scene with her co-star Ajay Devgn for ‘Satyagraha’. In order to show passionate chemistry between the two, in the romantic song sequence - `Ras Se Bhare Tore Nain Saawariya`- Jha coaxed Kareena for a kissing scene but she refused to do so. "Prakashji wanted at least a brush-on-the-lip since this was a very passionate moment between the lead pair. But now after marriage, Kareena Kapoor won`t do any intimate scenes with any of her co-stars. Not even with husband Saif Ali Khan. There is a certain code of conduct that Kareena Kapoor must follow as a Pataudi bahu. Also, Kareena Kapoor would do nothing to hurt her mother-in-law (Sharmila Tagore) whom she loves dearly," a source from the Satyagraha location said It is reported that, later Jha had to ditch his idea of intimate scene. Kapoor had earlier reportedly refused to do any kissing scene with actor Emraan Hashmi in the upcoming film ‘Badtameez Dil’. Keeping in mind the convention which a Pataudi bahu has to follow Kareena is refraining to shoot such scenes. ‘Satyagraha’ is a political thriller, which stars Amitabh Bachchan, Arjun Rampal, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Manoj Bajpai and Amrita Rao.
