Kareena Kapoor very much a part of ‘Shuddhi’: Karan Johar

New Delhi: As the news about the possibility of Kareena Kapoor getting replaced by Deepika Padukone in Karan Johar’s ‘Shuddhi’ broke out recently, the film maker wasted no time in putting the wagging tongues to rest. Earlier, it was reported that Dharma Productions has approached Deepika Padukone to work opposite Hrithik Roshan in KJo’s ‘Shuddhi’. The ‘sources’ had cited two reasons but the sudden change in the female lead of the period film – a) Hrithik’s divorce with Suzanne and then pairing with Bebo in ‘Shuddhi’ might add fuel to the fire considering the duo’s alleged affair in the past; b) After giving four hits this year, Deepika is more bankable than Kareena. But Karan Johar took to Twitter to clarify that Kareena is not getting replaced by anyone else in ‘Shuddhi’.
