Kareena replaces Kangana in Sujoy Ghosh`s next?

Zee Media Bureau/Ritika Handoo New Delhi: After a lot of speculation about who will play the lead in Sujoy Ghosh`s much-talked about thriller `Durga Rani Singh`, the buzz is that Kareena Kapoor Khan might be the lucky one. Interestingly, Bebo was not the first choice for this film. The role was first offered to `The Dirty Picture` actress Vidya Balan, who could not take it up at that time. The meaty role then went to `Queen` fame actress Kangana Ranaut, who reportedly turned down the offer as she had to complete her script writing course in New York. Earlier, Kangana had expressed her happiness about joining Sujoy for `Durga Rani Singh` but now it seems with her busy schedule, the film took a back seat. It will however, be interesting to see how the begum will essay a challenging role. Kareena is currently working on Rohit Shetty`s `Singham Returns`. With Sujoy`s `Durga Rani Singh` in Bebo`s kitty, the girl is surely going places!
