Los Angeles: Actress Lydia Wilson has been cast in the upcoming science fiction "Star Trek Beyond".
Wilson, who played Domnhall Gleeson's lovable, trouble-making sister, Kit Kat, in the time-travel rom-com "About Time" will essay a role whose details are being kept under wraps, reported Variety.
The movie, directed by Justin Lin, stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana and Anton Yelchin.
"Star Trek Beyond" also stars Idris Elba who is set to play the villain. Doug Jung and Pegg have written the film which is produced by by JJ Abrams, Bryan Burk and Roberto Orci.
The film is scheduled to release on July 8, 2016.
