Wellington: Mark Hamill has revealed that he was suspicious about J.J Abrams to direct 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' as he earlier directed 'Star Trek'.

The American actor said at the Star Wars Celebration of his decision to reprise his role as Luke Skywalker in the latest 'Star Wars' series that the 48-year-old director was surely talented and skilled, but the actor didn't trust him and was worried about leaking the information, Stuff.co.nz reported.

Hamill added that he had to say yes when George Lucas told him about the plans to move forward with a new 'Star Wars' trilogy as it was not his choice he just drafted.
