Kolkata: Veteran star Mithun Chakroborty will be teaming up with his son Mimoh for the first time on-screen in the movie `Rocky`.
"`Rocky` is the first film where I will be partnering with dancing guru Mithun Chakraborty in a sequence. Don`t know what lies in store for me," Mimoh said here.
"You know you have to live up to the steps of a dancing wizard like my father, the mahaguru. Fans will see me as his co-actor and not as Mithunda`s son. And I must say I don`t know how he gets so worked up always at any call time. He is a powerhouse of energy," he added.
Asked what was his father`s advise before the shoot began, Mimoh said "He told me you have to stick to the ground. I don`t want people to say Mimoh is the film`s lead as he has been backed by Mithunda. You have to do everything on your own."
"But on the sets, he turned out to be very patient when I flunked and tripped. We went for it again and again, he would patiently wait for me to go with the flow and beats," Mimoh, who will also be seen in yet to be released `Spaghetti 24x7` by Gourav Pandey, said.
"I bank on the rest who will come to watch a good, entertaining film, a typical masala one where me and Mimoh will be seen on screen for the first time," Mithun said about `Rocky`.
Asked how he coped with his father`s huge fan following, Mimoh said, "I know he became Mithun Chakraborty because of his karma, his talent and I am proud to share the surname. It is a huge honour, but I just want to be myself."
Praising his son, Mithun said, "Mimoh has shown he can dance and also act before the camera. You might laugh at this, but he is a better dancer than me."
Stating they (Mithun and Yogita) won`t be attending the premier, Mithun said, "We have some taboos in attending premiers. But we two will have our eyes and ears to the venues and other theatres screening the movie which we will see later."
