According to the Hollywood Reporter, 'Penguins of Madagascar' garnered 36 million dollars in five days and the R-rated comedy 'Horrible Bosses 2' earned 23 million dollars, while Disney's Big Hero 6 came in third with 26 million dollars.
Focus Features' Stephen Hawking biopic 'The Theory of Everything' moved up to No. 7 as it expanded nationwide into a total of 802 theaters, grossing 5.1 million dollars for the weekend and 6.4 million for dollars the five days.
