Nana`s bluntness helped me perform better: Suniel Shetty

Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty is all praise for the veteran Nana Patekar.

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty, who shares screen space with Nana Patekar in their upcoming romantic flick `Tum Milo To Sahi`, is all praise for the veteran, and feels he is forthright and blunt, when it comes to improvisation.
"Nana is blunt.. but he corrects and guides you. He helps you to enhance your performance. It depends on how you take it. I felt good when he corrected me in my scenes during the making of the film," Suniel told reporters here. "I remember when we were doing the climax scene. I was handling it in different way and suddenly Nana bluntly told me `what are you doing haan...(kya karta hai), you are just saying the lines...there is no realisation.. no regret—an emotion that had to come across in that particular shot." "What sets Nana apart from others is his intensity and passion... the way he charts out his life`s course.. he is forever open for challenges," the 48-year-old actor said. On his character, Suniel said, "I play the role of Amit Nagpal, a business honcho who believes in the power of money. Amit is a successful corporate climber at 40, and has stunned many by his swift ascent.. but deep inside he feels a void. In his quest to make everything that was worldly possible he losses the excitement of being in love." `Tum Milo To Sahi` is a unique tale of three couples in three different stages of life - late teens, mid thirties and late fifties. It is about how love makes the lives of these ordinary people extraordinary. Directed by Kabir Sadanand, the movie is set to release on April 2 and also stars Dimple Kapadia, Vidya Malvade, Anjana Sukhani and Rehan Khan in significant roles. On whether he had jitters about the film hitting the screens during IPL, Suniel said, "even though the movie is releasing during IPL, it will do well as it is about relationships.. I am sure everyone will be able to identify with the characters." PTI
