Nicole Kidman to star in suspense thriller 'The Silent Wife'

Los Angeles: Actress Nicole Kidman is all set to star in Adrian Lyne's suspense thriller "The Silent Wife", based on the bestselling book by ASA Harrison

The 48-year-old "Moulin Rouge!" star will play Jodi, a dedicated wife, who despite her husband Todd's frequent indiscretions, continues to play the dutiful spouse, reported Aceshowbiz.

When confronted with the brutal truth of him leaving her for a younger woman, she is not ready to accept defeat.

What starts as a tragic dissolution of a marriage quickly turns into a game of cat and mouse.

Billy Ray wrote the adapted script.

Kidman and Per Saari are producing for Blossom Film along with Lyne, Paula Mazur and Mitchell Kaplan.
