Los Angeles: Marvel has confirmed ‘Captain Marvel’ will be penned by female writers Nicole Perlman and Meg LeFauve.

Perlman is credited with hit movie ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ and LeFauve wrote the upcoming film ‘Inside Out’.

They will now help bring superhero Carol Danvers to the big screen in her first solo cinematic adventure due in theaters on November 2, 2018, reported Aceshowbiz.

No director and actress has been announced for ‘Captain Marvel’, which will become Marvel's first superhero movie led by a female character, but Adam McKay could be a contender to helm the project since Kevin Feige says McKay is being eyed for all future Marvel flicks.
