London: Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Orlando Bloom and Scott Adkins are the most recent names that have been linked for the part of Batman in the upcoming sequel of `Man of Steel`.
According to Den of Geek, Morgan is speculated to be reuniting with director Zack Snyder to play the character of the masked crusader in the latest Warner Bros flick, Metro.co.uk reported. A source from Warner Bros told The Daily Express that Bloom was considered apt to play the masked crusader even before the first casting calls. The insider added that Bloom would be perfect to play Batman opposite Henry Cavill and he believes that American audience would be glad to see two Brits as the main leads. `Zero Dark Thirty` actor Adkins had earlier sparked speculation that he could be a contender after he took to Twitter to say that Warner Bros approached him for the part and he appeared in the audition. Batman/Superman, which is due for release in 2015, also had Ryan Gosling, Josh Brolin, Richard Armitage, Matthew Goode, Max Martini and Joe Manganiello linked for the Batman role. ANI
