New Delhi: With red carpet rolled out for the most anticipated 87th Academy Awards, Hollywood is ready for Oscars winners on Feb 22.

With the nominations sealed and host Neil Patrick Harris promising magic, the final countdown to Oscars is building up to nail-biting moments.

With Richard Linklater's coming of age drama `Boyhood` and dark age satire `Birdman` vying with each other for best picture for Oscars, stakes on the two movies are really high.

And with `Birdman` beating `Boyhood` at the Independent Spirit Awards winning three spirit awards, the battle between these two movies out of the eight nominated films for Oscars has pumped up the spirit leading to Oscars night as well.

The 30th annual Spirit Awards,  which is hosted by Film Independent, is to honor the top achievements across movies which are made under $20 million. They often give an indication of the probable Academy Award winners.

Whether it is 'Birdman'  or 'Boyhood' leading this Oscars, both the movies are highly critically acclaimed.
