Los Angeles: The popular horror film series "Paranormal Activity" will soon have its virtual reality game with a new storyline.
The still-unnamed virtual game, developed by Beast Media Group, will give viewers the illusion of being among the haunted, reported Aceshowbiz.
According to Beast Media's co-managing partner, Alex Barder, the video game will not be based on any of the existing "Paranormal Activity" movies.
"Virtual Reality is the next chapter of the franchise," Alex said.
The team is planning to debut the game on all major virtual reality platforms including non-virtual reality version for more traditional gamers.
The first preview of the "Paranormal Activity" game is scheduled to be released at Gamescon in Cologne, Germany, early August.
