Washington: Actress Perla Haney-Jardine has been brought on board to play Steve Jobs' daughter in the upcoming biopic 'Jobs.'
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the 17-year-old emerging star, whose most prominent credit may be an appearance in 2007's 'Spider-Man 3,' will star alongside Michael Fassbender, who'll play the Apple co-founder, as Lisa Jobs.
The Universal project, is being helmed by Danny Boyle from a Aaron Sorkin-written adaptation of the Walter Isaacson book ' Steve Jobs.'
Jobs had being Lisa's father for years before finally admitting to it when the young woman was a teen, and though she had refused to be a part of the book due to sensitivities, Sorkin said in interviews last year he had talked to her for the adaptation.
Haney-Jardine, who turns 18 this year and bears a striking resemblance to the real Lisa Jobs, clearly fits into one of the acts.
The movie will highlight 3 different stages of Jobs' life and it hasn't been revealed how thedaughter character figures into each stage.
Other actors in various stages of joining the movie include Seth Rogen as Steve Wozniak, Michael Stuhlbarg as Andy Hertzfeld, Kate Winslet and Jeff Daniels.
