Post ‘Munna Bhai’ and ‘3 Idiots’, it’s ‘Hey Bhagwan’ for Hirani

Spicezee Bureau Mumbai: After tickling our funny-bone with Box Office hits like ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’, ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’ and ‘3 Idiots’, Rajkumar Hirani is gearing up for his next venture, which is about three hundred Gods, tentatively titled ‘Hey Bhagwan!’ Buzz has it that Hirani has just finished the first draft of the film and will soon be finalising the cast, once he is done with the script. Talking to a news daily, a source said, “Raju had met Abhijat Joshi a couple of months back in US and discussed the idea with him. Abhijat is Raju’s most trusted associate and he loved the idea; they started working on the script. Raju is already ready with his rough first draft. The film deals with the issue of our multi-deity culture in India and how there are different gods for different problems. The film will be moulded in a typical Raju Hirani format, with humour and an underlying message.” Post the raging success of Aamir Khan starrer ‘3 Idiots’; tinsel town is desperately awaiting projects from Rajkumar Hirani. Beyond this, Hirani is also working on the third instalment of super hit ‘Munna Bhai’ series, called ‘Munna Bhai Chale Amrika’.
