New Delhi: Director S.S. Rajamouli pays tribute to Ajay Devgn in his film ‘Makkhi’ by making the protagonist enact a stunt scene that the Bollywood actor is famous for.
Ajay, 43, has lent his voice in ‘Makkhi’, Hindi version of Rajamouli`s Telugu blockbuster ‘Eega’. The director has added an extra scene where the fly will be seen balancing itself on the back of two other flies and will speak the famous dialogue - "Ata majhi satakli!" from Ajay`s hit movie ‘Singham’. The entire animation was incorporated in the film within seven days. The movie traces the life of a man reborn as a fly to avenge his death and protect his girlfriend. "For a film like `Makkhi`, it is very important that the audience leave the theatre with warmth in their heart and a smile on their face... So we came up with the idea of making the `makkhi` dance for the end credits. But `makkhi` riding on two houseflies is the cherry on top," Rajamouli said in a statement. Meanwhile, the actor is geared up for the release of director Ashwini Dhir`s ‘Son Of Sardaar’ and he will be seen balancing himself on two horses in the film coming out Nov 13. IANS
