New Delhi: Rumour has it that the lead actors of Imtiaz Ali's 'Tamasha' – Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone - have decided to return a part of their remuneration to the producers of the film because it failed to accumulate the desired money expected out of it.
According to a report in MissMalini.com, although 'Tamasha' happened to win critical acclaim, it couldn't turn out to be a top grosser. Thus, to make the movie more viable, Ranbir and Deepika have shown their generous sides by offering to return a hefty amount to the producers- UTV and Sajid Nadiadwala.
While Ranbir will be returning 10 crore, Padukone will be returning 5 crore.
Anurag Kashyap, too, will be returning the cost of production to producers for the failure of 'Bombay Velvet'.
