Randeep Hooda to play titular character in Sarabjit biopic
While it was already confirmed that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be seen as Dalbir Kaur in the Sarabjit biopic, now Randeep Hooda has been roped in to play the titular role.

New Delhi: While it was already confirmed that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be seen as Dalbir Kaur in the Sarabjit biopic, now Randeep Hooda has been roped in to play the titular role.
The heart breaking story of Sarabjit is being told on the big screen by Omung Kumar who is famous for his sports biopic 'Maru Kom'. Sarabjit got caught and jailed when he accidentally crossed borders to Pakistan and eventually got brutally murdered by his inmates in 2013 after 23 years of being imprisoned.
Omung confirmed on Twitter saying, “Aishwarya and @RandeepHooda in my next film SARBJIT coming soon”
The film is about the fight Dalbir fought for her brother’s release from the Lahore jail. The anticipation from the movie is already high as Aishwarya was roped in a few days earlier and the audience is eager to watch her on the big screen again.
Randeep too has managed to gain critical praise for his role in 'Highway' and is indeed one of the better actors the industry can boast of.
