New Delhi: Audiences in Pakistan will not be able to see dusky beauty Rani Mukerji in the tough cop avatar in `Mardaani`. The Yash Raj Films flick, which released in India today will not hit the silver screens in the neighbouring country due to a few demands made by the Pakistani censor board. According to reports, when the Pakistan Film Censor Board saw the film, that was released with an `adults only` certificate in India, they also gave it an `A` certificate. Besides, the `A` certificate Pakistan Censor Board also asked for seven cuts in the film and wanted certain scenes to be blurred. The film`s creative team felt that censoring those particular scenes will lead to distortion of the message that the movie wants to convey. Eventually, after a long discussion it was decided that the film will not release in Pakistan. `Mardaani` is the first Yash Raj Films flick that has got an `adults only` certificate from the censor board in India. Directed by Pradeep Sarkar the movie is based on human trafficking.
