New Delhi: Karan Johar`s next big project, `Shuddhi`, has already had it`s fair share of troubles. After superstars Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor pulled out of the movie, the latest buzz is that Deepika and Ranveer have been roped in.It seems that after the phenomenal success of Sanjay Leela Bhansali`s `Goliyon ki Rasleela...Ram-leela`, producers are trying to cash in on their onscreen chemistry. The casting of Deepika has already been confirmed and if rumours are to be believed then her alleged beau Ranveer is set to pair opposite the long legged beauty in Karan Malhotra`s magnum opus.
The pair of Ranveer-Deepika is the hottest discussion in town, and with a spectacular performance in `...Ram-Leela` the couple has left the audience thirsting for more. Their onscreen chemistry, and the fact that they have been spotted together in all the award functions together have only increased the speculations of a budding romance between the two.
Both of them have packed schedules as of now. Deepika is busy with Farah Khan`s `Happy New Year`, Shoojit Sircar`s `Piku` amd Imtiaz Ali`s next project opposite Ranbir Kapoor. Ranveer too is quite busy with Shaad Ali`s next and is rumoured to have been roped in by Bhansali for `Bajirao Mastani`. But the lack of dates doesn`t seem to have daunted Karan. Sources have said that the shooting for `Shuddhi` is only supposed to begin around the second quarter of 2015.
`Shuddhi` is inspired by Amish Tripathi`s hotselling trilogy `Immortals of Meluha` and is being directed by Karan Malhotra famed for the hit remake of `Agneepath`.
