London: Rita Ora has revealed that her perfect American accent helped her getting the role in ' Fifty Shades of Grey'.
The 'RIP' hitmaker confessed to InStyle that she didn't get any special treatment to win the role in the latest E.L James adaptation and auditioned for the movie like many other aspiring actors did, the Mirror reported.
The 24-year-old British singer had a conversation with the director in which she mentioned that she would love to be a part of this erotic flick by making some great music as she liked the book, but the 48-year-old film-maker asked her to give audition for the movie rather than for music.
Ora admitted that she was "excited" as well as "shocked" when she got the role as she did just a bit of acting and didn't expect to be put into that role, as she had gone through a lot of "no's" in her career.
