New Delhi: Salman Khan seems to be looking for a bit of an image make-over as he looks to finally play a more sober, acting role in his next movie, ‘Radhe’.
Sohail Khan’s remake of AR Murugadoss’ southern flick ‘Stalin’ will feature Salman in the role of a good Samaritan. And, breaking the recent trend, Sallu has urged Sohail to cast Naseeruddin Shah and Tabu in important roles alongside him.
While Sohail has said that the actors are yet to commit, TOI quoted a source as saying: “Before leaving for Dubai on Wednesday, Sohail spoke to Tabu and Naseer for two important roles in the film."
The source added that “it was at Salman`s insistence that Tabu and Naseer were contacted. Salman felt that the supremely talented duo could give the film a touch of class. Also, the film sees him as a military officer who sets out to reform society.”
If the cast does get together it’ll be the first time Salman and Naseer would share the same screen. Tabu, though, has acted with the ‘Dabangg’ star thrice in the past.
Let’s hope ‘Radhe’ does go down a different line and we can enjoy Salman Khan’s acting range as well, for a change!
