Sanjay Gupta's 'Kaante' set for a sequel

New Delhi: Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta had delivered a blockbuster in the form of 'Kaante' in 2002. The film had an ensemble cast of megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Mahesh Manjrekar, Lucky Ali and Kumar Gaurav in the lead roles. The movie was loved for its music and power-packed performances.

In an interview with the leading daily, the filmmaker was quoted as saying that the script is ready for the sequel, which will see three of the original characters getting reprised in the second part. The film had a special number by Malaika Arora Khan, which became a chart-buster instantly.

Now, with 'Kaante' sequel in the pipeline, will we see Sanju baba and Big B coming together in a film again? Only time will spill more beans.
