Mumbai: Filmmaker Karan Johar has a patent choice of actors he likes to work with, when making a film. It is almost predictable to expect his favorite stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Rani Mukerjee in films produced by his banner. But Sanjay Dutt seems to be the new favorite with the KJo camp.
Sanju recently finished shooting for Johar’s remake of the 1990s blockbuster ‘Agneepath’ that also stars Hrithik Roshan. And now buzz has it that he will be seen making a cameo in Johar’s ‘Student of the year’.
A source explained, "David Dhawan made his debut as a director with Sanjay Dutt starrer `Taqdeerwala`. Sanjay then decided to launch his banner Sanjay Dutt Productions with `Rascals` and roped in David to direct the film. While the shooting for `Rascals` was still going on, David`s son Rohit requested Sanju to do a cameo for his film `Desi Boyz`. And now, Sanju will work with David`s younger son Varun, who will debut in Student Of The Year."
When contacted, Dutt said, "I worked in David`s first film and he directed my first home production. Then I did a cameo for his son Rohit`s directorial debut, Desi Boyz. And now, I have heard that Karan has some 2-3 scenes for me in his film, which stars David`s other son, Varu."
If Sanjay is KJo’s new friend, will he be able to able to mend the differences between his best friend Salman Khan and Johar’s thick buddy Shah Rukh Khan?
Guess…only time will tell!
