Mumbai: Here's good news for fans of Shah Rukh Khan. The trailer of the highly anticipated movie Raees will be unveiled soon. Latest reports suggest that the trailer of the film which also stars Pakistani actor Mahira Khan and method actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be out in December.

SRK who is involved in film making aspects at all levels confirmed the news recently at a promotional event. “It’s ready, edited and censored. We are just trying to formulate a plan to market it. There’s a way we want to launch it. So we just want to get the technical part of it right”, the actor confirmed, a report in BollywoodLife.com originally published in DNA suggests.

When asked if the trailer will be attached with his upcoming flick, Dear Zindagi he dismissed the claims and said, “It’s not coming out with Dear Zindagi for sure. I read somewhere about this news and no, it’s not true at all.”

The trailer was to be released on November 2 which is SRK’s birthday. It was later postponed due to several reasons. It has been speculated that the controversy surrounding Pakistani actors after the Uri attack was one of the reasons. 

Since the poster and teaser of the movie have been released, people are excited to see the king of romance in a new avatar who sports a Miya Bhai look.

The film also brings SRK and the Gangs of Wasseypur star, Nawazuddin Siddiqui together for the first time. It will be exciting to see, Nawaz, who has played dark characters in movies like Raman Raghav 2.0, Badlapur and Kick along with SRK, who has been on a rampage to showcase his versatility with movies like Fan, Dear Zindagi and Ra.One.

The film, produced under Excel Entertainment and Red Chilies is directed by Rahul Dholakia. The movie is set to release on Eid next year.
