New Delhi: Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor, who has a huge fan following—all thanks to her sweet girl-next-door image has been trying out different roles of late, and will be seen doing some interesting stuff in the future as well.
Her recent one being 'Rock On 2' saw her play a budding rock star singer and now her next which is based on the life of Haseena Parker seems like a good choice.
The film titled 'Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai' is largely going to be a biopic based on underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena Parker. This is a subject interesting enough to draw people to theatres.
"I am excited but I am more nervous as I play from the age of 17 to 43 so that whole character graph is there. The character is going to be difficult. I hope I'm convincing," PTI quoted Shraddha as saying on the sidelines of 'Global Citizen Festival India'.
The film will chronicle the journey of Haseena from teenage till a middle-age.
When asked if she would use prosthetics, she said, "Let me not give you info now.(sic)
"Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai" will see her brother Sidhanth play the role of Dawood Ibrahim. The film will be directed by Apoorva Lakhia.
